The large concert hall “Oktyabrsky” in St. Petersburg postponed the concert of the singer Philip Kirkorov, which was supposed to take place on Easter April 16th.

The message on the official page of the concert hall in the social network “VKontakte” states that the event was postponed to April 21 for technical reasons.

It is noted that tickets for the concert will be valid and do not require an exchange.

It is worth noting that last year a scandal erupted over Kirkorov’s speech at the State Kremlin Palace. Then the singer climbed a fallen Christian cross and performed several dance steps.

Later, this moment became the cause of a lawsuit.

However, Moscow’s Tagansky Court dismissed a lawsuit filed by Orthodox activist Mikhail Feodoridi against singer Philip Kirkorov for insulting religious feelings over a music video that uses a cross as a stage object.

Theodoridi in court reduced his claims from 1 million to 1 ruble as moral damages, since, according to him, the main thing is spiritual peace, and not the material side. But the plaintiff insisted that the singer should apologize for the musical number. After the meeting, he declined to comment to reporters.
