Actor Hector Parra was sentenced on Thursday, May 25 to 10 years and six months in prison. for the offense of aggravated molestation of minors against his youngest daughter, Alexa Parra Hoffman, the young woman’s defense said.
The verdict was handed down during a hearing to determine sanctions and redress for the Reclisorio Oriente in Mexico City, the facility where the actor will serve his sentence.
According to Alexa’s lawyer Olivia Rubio, “Mexico City Procedural Judge sentenced Héctor N. to 10 years and 6 months in prison for the crime of aggravated child molestation committed against an APH victim known as Alexa.”
“We know that this verdict is not the end point and that there is still a long way to go to achieve full reparations and claim Alexa’s life.”added to the document.
Rubio appealed to the authorities “guarantee the effective execution of the sentence and provide the necessary protective measures to protect the physical and emotional integrity of Alexa and her family.”
Hector Parra must pay compensation to his daughter
Samara Avila, the actor’s legal representative, confirmed the information made public by the accusing party.
“Mr Hector convicted of the crime of child molestation, Unfortunately, at the discretion of this first instance, who is the judge, whom we respect and with whom we are conducting this entire criminal process, imposes a minimum sentence of 10 years with 6 months”he told the press on the outskirts of the prison.
