The patient accuses several IVF clinics of systematically stealing her embryos and eggs. She is sure that doctors resell them for a lot of money to others. Moreover, she claims that she found another victim, but they still refuse to open a criminal case due to the lack of corpus delicti. The doctors filed a libel suit. They are sure that a woman is not looking for justice, but pursues some personal goals. Details of the mysterious story – in the plot REN TV.

“Embryos were stolen from us”

Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Saltanat Sadykova, a citizen of Kazakhstan, lives in Germany and at the same time calls herself a victim at the hands of Russian doctors who allegedly engaged in the systematic theft of her biomaterials.

“Two or three embryos were stolen from us. Four of my eggs were stolen.”– says Sadykova.

According to the woman, the first time this happened in the IVF clinic in the capital. Six months later, the girl turned to a similar institution in St. Petersburg, where the situation allegedly repeated itself.

“I can assume that the material that is illegally pumped from patients without their knowledge goes to the OTTO Institute for experiments. The biomaterial is very expensive. One egg costs from 30 to 40 thousand rubles. Moreover, the Asian type is the most expensive on the market, because there is a lot of demand”, – said the patient.

Doctors explained – they say, the embryos did not develop. But the patient decided that she had been deceived.

Claims against doctors

Saltanat Sadykova appealed to the police, the prosecutor’s office, the Investigative Committee of Moscow and St. Petersburg and asked to check the facts: human trafficking, theft of biomaterials, fraud and negligence of doctors. Each application was carefully considered, however, initiation of criminal cases was denied due to the lack of corpus delicti. Then Saltanat found another patient of the Moscow clinic, Olga Afanasyeva, who also has complaints about doctors.

“They call me to the doctor and tell me that all the cells, all 17 pieces, were unsuitable for fertilization. When I came to my senses a few months later, I began to look for information, wrote several reviews and the same girls, deceived by this clinic, responded”– says Olga Afanasyeva.

Domestic reproductive specialists consider such a statement to be absurd and offensive.

“There are no black markets, since every service is legal, allowed and an officially licensed clinic can provide all services. Looking at the donor bank, we see age, height, blood type, eye color, up to education and family You can learn a lot about a woman before deciding to use donor eggs”, – explains the gynecologist, rehabilitologist of the Moscow State Healthcare Institution “Mariinsky GB” Nina Moreva.

Missing embryos or slander?

Representatives of the clinic, which women accuse of stealing biomaterials, also wrote statements to the police.

“What is the official position of the organization? An investigation was carried out on this fact, there is material, in particular, Sadykova was denied initiating criminal cases. We organized a statement of slander from Sadykova, and filed lawsuits in court,” – adds the lawyer of the clinic.

Clinic lawyers do not rule out that the patient is pursuing mercantile goals. Saltanat has been living and working in Germany for almost 20 years, while choosing Russia and Belarus for the IVF procedure. In addition, in one of the claims, she indicated that she agreed to compensation.
