Oncologist, National Medical Research Center of Oncology named after N.N. Petrova Madina Radjabova told what symptoms may indicate the development of thyroid cancer.
The doctor pointed out that the first stages of the growth of a malignant tumor are asymptomatic. Any markers appear later and resemble a cold. There are four symptoms in total: hoarseness, swollen lymph nodes in the neck, difficulty swallowing, and the appearance of a dense formation just below the Adam’s apple.
As Radjabova clarified in an interview with the publication “Doctor Peter”increase the likelihood of thyroid cancer by a number of factors: living in places that are characterized by a lack of iodine, or in areas with an increased radioactive background (or radiation exposure), growing thyroid lymph nodes and the presence (treatment with radiation therapy) of malignant tumors near the thyroid gland.
Earlier, oncologist Daniil Fazliev spoke about a dangerous breast disease in young girls from 15 to 30 years old. We are talking about fibroadenomas – tumors that do not manifest themselves in any way, but can develop into cancer.
