International Tea Day is celebrated on May 21st. Andrey Tyazhelnikov, Chief Freelance Specialist in Primary Health Care of the Moscow Department of Health, spoke about how and in what quantity it is best to drink this drink.

In an interview with RIA Novosti, he noted that tea can be useful only in relatively small doses – it is recommended to drink no more than four cups per day. Minerals, vitamins and strong antioxidant tannins bring benefits in tea.

However, if you overdo it, then this substance will begin to interfere with the body’s ability to absorb iron. In addition, as Tyazhelnikov pointed out, due to caffeine, tea can increase excitability and lead to insomnia.

However, people often prefer experimental drinks over traditional ones. For example, a businessman from Perm started selling coffee with human milk in his chain of coffee houses.
