Ice cream can be harmful to people with certain illnesses. This was told by a gastroenterologist, pediatrician “INVITRO-SOUTH” Tatyana Nemaltseva.

According to her, the consumption of ice cream should be limited to people with allergies to milk protein, diabetes, carbohydrate metabolism disorders or pancreatitis.

This product is quite high-calorie, it contains a large amount of fast carbohydrates and fats.

“Fruit ice is lower in calories, and if it contains mainly natural ingredients, this product can be consumed more often”clarified Tatyana Nemaltseva in an interview with Gazeta.Ru.

Ice cream should be consumed in small quantities with lactase deficiency. To avoid a sore throat, dessert can be washed down with warm tea or consumed with coffee.

When buying ice cream, the doctor advised to read its composition. If it contains a substitute for milk fat or vegetable fats, then the product does not comply with GOST.

Fruit ice, in turn, is made from various frozen drinks: juice, tea, coffee. It should contain a minimum of dyes and flavor enhancers.

Previously, doctors talked about healthy refreshing drinks that can be consumed in hot weather. Among them are water, white and green teas, home-made lemonade with the addition of a small amount of ginger, mint, and herbs.
