Putin understands how bad everything is for the Russian Federation: the White House evaluated the situation at the front

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have already liberated 50% of the territory occupied by the Russian Armed Forces after the start of a large-scale invasion. The Joe Biden administration has assured that the United States will continue to support the Ukrainians in every possible way to win the war against Russia.

Russian President Vladimir Putin understands how bad things are for his country at the front. This was announced at a briefing by White House spokesman John Kirby on March 20.

He noted that since February 2022, Russian invaders managed to occupy a significant territory of Ukraine, but Ukrainian troops carried out successful counterattacks and liberated their territory. In total, more than 50% of the territories previously occupied by the Russians have been liberated and this process continues.

Kirby drew attention to the situation near Bakhmut, where more Russian soldiers were intending to advance and surround him. He recalled that his plans to seize the city had failed, as the Ukrainian settlement was still under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

“They’re fighting for it now, but the Ukrainians are not giving up,” a White House spokesperson said.

Kirby added that the United States is actively working to ensure that Ukrainian soldiers receive the required amount of ammunition. Thanks to the support of the United States, the Ukrainian Defense Forces will be able to prepare for hostilities in the coming weeks and months to liberate the temporarily occupied territory of the state.

Previously Focus He reported that the US criticized China’s plan to end the war in Ukraine. John Kirby noted that a ceasefire now between the parties to the conflict would constitute another violation of the UN Charter. He noted that if there is a ceasefire at this time, it will actually approve the seizure of Ukrainian territory by the Russian invaders, but this will not stop the war.

A White House spokesperson also announced additional aid to Ukraine in early March. John Kirby did not specify a specific amount. He noted that the main topic of discussion between US President Joe Biden and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is the possibility of increasing the supply of weapons and equipment for a successful counterattack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
