Zelensky introduced Kamyshin, head of the Ministry of Strategic Industry, to the National Security and Defense Council, – document

According to the press service of the President of Ukraine, the decree on amending the structure of the National Security and Defense Council comes into force from today.

On Tuesday, April 4, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Minister of Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshin to the staff of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. This was learned by decree No. 194, published on the official website of the president.

The decree of Volodymyr Zelenskyy states: “In accordance with the fourth part of Article 107 of the Ukrainian Constitution … I decide to appoint the Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine Oleksandr Nikolayevich Kamyshin to the staff of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. . This Decision enters into force on the date of its publication.”

Recall that since 2021 Alexander Kamyshin has been appointed acting. Chairman of the Board of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”. A year later, he became the chairman of the board of the joint stock company.

On February 27, 2023, Kamyshin announced that he was resigning and would become the head of the Ukrainian railway’s European integration office.

On March 3, the President of Ukraine appointed Oleksandr Kamyshin, the former head of Ukrzaliznytsia, as his non-staff adviser.

Recall that on March 21, the Verkhovna Rada supported Alexander Kamyshin’s candidacy for the new head of the Ministry of Strategic Industry, voted for the appointment of 312 deputies.
