Ukraine and the Czech Republic have prepared 6 projects for the joint production of weapons, ammunition, training aircraft and repair of tanks with the possibility of full implementation of production work on the territory of Ukraine. This was announced at a briefing organized by Czech President Petr Pavel.
“This weapon is the production of ammunition, the repair of tanks such as the T-62, the production of training aircraft potential. For us, technology and production transfer is a priority, whether this production is partially or completely carried out on the territory of Ukraine. The final result, taking into account the technologies available in both countries will be used,” he said.
The Czech leader also assured that cooperation with Ukraine will continue, not only in terms of military aid, but also in many other areas, including trade, energy, transport and utilities.
Petr Pavel also said that the Czech Republic is ready to assist Ukraine in the restoration of the Dnieper and Dnipropetrovsk region.
“The restoration of Ukraine must now be done,” said the Czech president.
Recall that Czech President Petr Pavel said during his visit to Ukraine that he will insist that negotiations on Ukraine’s accession to the EU be held this year.
Czech President Petr Pavel and Slovak President Zuzana Chaputova went to Ukraine. This is the first visit of a Czech president to Ukraine since 2013.
