“From Lisbon to Lugansk”: German Foreign Minister announces the expansion of the European Union

German Foreign Minister Annalena Bärbock said that the European Union will try to expand its influence and presence in the region from Lisbon to Lugansk in the near future. According to the European publication Pravda, he announced this during his visit to Kiev.

“The future of Ukraine is in the European Union, in our community of freedom, and soon it will expand from Lisbon to Lugansk. Ukraine is also expanding with every village it liberates, with every meter it liberates its people. The road to the EU,” he said.

Burbock expressed confidence that European allies and partners will support Ukraine in this process. He also emphasized that Ukraine continues to implement impressive reforms despite the large-scale occupation by the Russian Federation.
