Medvedev called Odessa his “home” and threatened a new attack on Kiev (video)

The former president of Russia once again called Kiev and Odessa “Russian cities” and “predicted” an endless conflict if Ukraine does not become part of the Russian Federation.

Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, believes that Moscow may need to “reach out” to Kiev to achieve its goals. And the “conflict” between Russia and Ukraine may not be limited to this stage only. The former President of the Russian Federation expressed this opinion in an interview with the Russian media.

“Where to stay? I don’t know. I think, taking into account what I said (e.g. about the need to create a protective border), we still need to work hard and seriously. Will it be in Kiev? Yes, Medvedev, it should probably be the same in Kiev. If not now, then for some time “Then maybe at another stage of this conflict,” he said.

The deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council justified the need to reach Kiev for two reasons: that Kiev is, in his words, a “Russian city” and that the international threat to Russia’s existence comes from there. .

“Although Kiev is essentially a Russian city, it is controlled by an international brigade of opponents of Russia, led by the United States. All those who officially perform their duties are puppets with neither conscience nor fear for their future. Medvedev said: “They have neither their own country nor their prospects . All decisions are made abroad and at NATO headquarters. This is very clear. “So yes, it could be Kiev,” he said.

The politician also remembered Odessa. He said that the city has long been awaited as part of Russia.

“About Odessa, I can simply say: Odessa, come home. That’s all. We were waiting for Odessa in the Russian Federation. Even because of the history of this city, what kind of people live there, what language do they speak?” This is our Russian city,” Medvedev emphasized.

The Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council believes that Ukraine will face an endless war if it is not with Russia.

“I have repeatedly said that the current Ukrainian state is dangerous for Ukrainians. And for them, this choice looks like this: either life in a normal, common situation with Russia, or life close to a common state, at least in some principles.” or endless war,” said the politician.

Let’s remember, on February 18, former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said that attempts to return to 1991 borders would lead to a global war with the use of nuclear weapons.

Previously, on January 17, Medvedev described Ukraine as a “cancerous growth”, an “artificial country” and added that Russia would never consider its own power legitimate.
