Well, you have to love the game so much to stand in kilometer-long queues for a ticket in thirty-degree heat for 14 hours. And then, apparently, also out of love for football – to try to smash the box office.
The excitement is understandable, because the local “Torch” made a comeback to the Premier League after 21 years. To the opponent – old scores. In 2001, it was Spartak Moscow that “put out” the “Torch” with a devastating score of 5:0.
Since then, “Torch” in the Premier League did not appear. And now the people of Voronezh are ready with the whole city to support the revenge of David against Goliath. People brought chairs and slept in cars.
Nerves – and so everyone is at the limit. And then the organizers closed the sale of tickets online. You can only buy through the box office. And then it began.
Conditions are tough. Two tickets in one hand. But it was impossible to buy them either. Closed, almost reached the assault.
And when the cash desks were opened, it became clear: the demand far exceeds the supply. Our TV channel contacted Fakel representatives by phone.
According to the organizers, they refused to sell tickets online in order to fight resellers. But at some point something terrible happened. The box office is also over. A rumor immediately swept through the crowd: outbids bought everything anyway.
According to fans, up to a thousand tickets could be bought at the box office. And here are the ads on Avito. Comes up to eight thousand. But resellers still call directly from the queue.
And this despite the fact that the “Torch” itself, without hesitation, calls the stadium old-school and does not promise comfort to the fans. And already felt. Hot. Closely. It’s a shame. It’s annoying. True, in the football world they are offering to forgive the Voronezh residents for their start in the Premier League. We have been waiting too long for the return of big football.
“It looks wild. In 2022, the fans have forgotten. But Voronezh is the main joy of football, where football is loved”– says the site editor Roman Guskov.
The favorite of the upcoming meeting, of course, is Spartak Moscow. But with such support, the Voronezh residents can still bring surprises. They have been here for a long time.
