MMA fighter Lane: “I have always dreamed of boxing”

American mixed martial arts fighter Julian Lane, who will fight under the rules of boxing with Russian kickboxer Vlad Tuinov on October 7 as part of the PRAVDA tournament, said that he dreamed of becoming a boxer since childhood, but began his sports career as a wrestler.

“In the area where I lived, there was no boxing section. So one day my mother signed me up for wrestling, and I began to do it. For a long time this was my way of life. And now, 20 years later, I finally can return to your old dream boxing”, Lane said.

He noticed that he always enters the ring for victory and counts only on it. Lane intends to win in Moscow as well.

“I’m looking forward to a good fight from the PRAVDA tournament and I want to continue boxing. Who knows, maybe one day I will face Jake Paul or Conor McGregor. Then my dream would come true. I would like to participate in big boxing matches,” – said the American athlete.

Recall that the main event of the PRAVDA boxing evening on October 7 will be the fight between Magomed Ismailov and Serbian Alexander Ilich.

In addition, viewers will see the broadcast of three more fights: Muboraksho Muborakshoev vs. Timur Nikulin, Nikolai Chibis vs. Rasul Mirzaev, Julian Lane vs. Vlad Tuinov.
