Briton Tyson Fury can become one of the strongest opponents for the Ukrainian fighter Oleksandr Usyk. Their chances of winning are approximately equal, said in an interview with former world boxing champion Grigory Drozd.

According to him, today Usyk is the only opponent for Fury’s level. The latter himself made a huge number of attempts to draw the attention of the Ukrainian to the duel, which would become extremely interesting.

“Tyson Fury is one of the strongest contenders and rivals for Usyk. The fight can turn out differently. Sasha can make another firework in his performance, but Fury is a real dude who is ready to beat anyone, and he proves it,” Drozd noted.

He added that in the confrontation with the British, Usyk has less chances than in the second fight with Anthony Joshua. The interlocutor called Fury’s victory over Derek Chisora absolutely expected.

“Tyson Fury has gained a lot of momentum. As we can see, he was not only talking his tongue during the break after defeating Wilder, but he was also training. It was a very easy victory over Chisora, he dominated almost the entire fight and finished ahead of schedule,” Grigory Drozd commented.

Recall that after the fight with Chisora, Fury challenged Oleksandr Usyk to fight, calling him “garbage”. The Ukrainian retorted that the “motor” is more important than the “frame”.
