Portugal striker Cristiano Ronaldo was included in the symbolic team of the worst players in the group stage of the World Cup in Qatar.
The striker played three games for the national team and scored only one goal from the penalty spot against Ghana. His rating after three games was 6.37 points according to SofaScore.
Together with Ronaldo, in the symbolic team of the worst players were: goalkeeper Meshal Barshim from Qatar, defenders Homam Ahmed from Qatar, Francisco Calva from Costa Rica, Oscar Duarte from Costa Rica, Alistair Johnston from Canada, midfielders Tajon Bouchanan from Canada, Abdulela Al- Fry from Saudi Arabia, Karim Boudiaf from Qatar and Matthew Lecky from Australia. Among the forwards, Ronaldo’s company was Almoez Ali from Qatar.
On November 2, Ronaldo became the record holder for the number of matches played at the World and European Championships. He is the only player in history who has played 20 times at the World Cup and 20 times at the European Championship. For the 37-year-old football player, this is the fifth world championship in his career.
