Cruz Azul’s historic scorer Carlos Hermosillo was very angry with Cruz Azul’s current board of directors and the alleged promises they once made to him to become the franchise’s new athletic director.
The statements were made in an interview with W Deportes, to which he stated that he did not believe in anything that members of the current board of directors of the cement team said.

When asked if he could currently work with Cruz Azul, Hermosillo replied that he could not, despite the fact that he has great love for this institution.
