In this sense, in order to support the AFAD aid campaign, the products will be collected at the Ali Sami Yen Sports Complex’s Nef Stadium and the Taçspor facilities, and these funds raised will be delivered to the regions that need them.”, the team said in a letter that it circulated via social media.

Items requested include heaters, thermal underwear, winter gloves, hats, scarves, winter shoes, baby food, hygiene products such as diapers and sanitary pads; in addition to flashlights and batteries, among other things.

Since the call, the team only stopped for some rest on Monday evening and resumed work early Tuesday morning. The gathering was attended by the club’s fans, managers, players and citizens willing to help.

“With the support of our citizens, the collection of humanitarian aid has begun at the facilities of Galatasaray Tachspor,” another publication says.

“Erden Timur, vice-president of Galatasaray, and Kerem Akturkoglu, one of the captains of our football team, participated in the distribution of humanitarian aid in Khatai,” they stressed.
