Colin Kaepernick, a former NFL player turned activist, claimed that his adoptive parents would have come out against him with racist comments and a tone of mockery at his hair. “Your hair is unprofessional, you look like a little killer“That’s what they said to a former San Francisco 49ers quarterback.
“I know that my parents loved me, but there were still very unpleasant things that I went through. It can happen in your own home and how we move forward together against perpetuating racism.”, he pointed out.
The statements were given by a quarterback who is without a team in interview with CBS. Kaepernick hasn’t played on the courts for nearly six years, but at 35, he’s looking forward to his comeback and admits he’s still preparing for it.
It should be remembered that Kaepernick is a strong Black Lives Matter activist. and he also has a documentary series on the Netflix platform in which he talks about the abuse he has endured over the course of his life simply because he is of color.
The former player was a pioneer who knelt on the ground to protest the constant abuse the United States inflicted on people of color.
