‘We’re not stupid’: Orlando City coach blows up after being eliminated against Tigres de la Huanle

Tigres de la Huanle suffered but managed to qualify for the CONCACAF Champions League. The cat team advanced to the quarterfinals of the continental competition after 1-1 draw with Orlando City. The away goal gave the Mexican team an advantage, but the opposing coach Oscar Pareja had some disagreements about the match.

The main remarks are aimed at Nahuel Guzman. The Argentine goalkeeper used all his experience to “burn” some time in the last minutes of the game. Oscar Pareja believes stoppage time was not respected and exploded after Orlando’s departure.

“In this series, we also publicly express the admiration, respect and value of our advancing rival, but in the last seven minutes four did not play and gave five; we are respected in MLS, but not stupidthey think so, but we do not, we respect the rules, arbitration must understand that we are respected, but not stupid, that is, not”, – sentenced Parekha at a press conference.

Orlando City leaves with a head held high

Despite the fact that the MLS team did not make it to the 1/8 finals, Oscar Pareja noted the work of his managers. An away goal is what knocks Orlando City out of the CONCACAF Champions League. In this sense, The strategist is pleased with the performance of the American team.

“I really liked it, we made a very good serieslogically we should start by looking at what has been done in a place like Monterrey, what has been played very well, the team is organized, a good result and The Tigers didn’t beat us either, they scored on the road, we’re going highthese players represented MLS and Orlando with great courage and good football, we’re leaving hot it’s football and we congratulate Tigres a great establishment moving forward”, he concluded.
