Ukraine’s multiple rowing champion Oleksandr Dykyi gave his life defending his homeland against Russian invaders. This was reported on Facebook by the Ukrainian Rowing Federation on April 20.
The Ukrainian master of sports died on April 16. The report says it happened in Donbass. He was 42 years old.
Details of his death were not disclosed. The place and date of the funeral will be announced later.
