Red Bull driver Perez wins Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix

The Mexican pilot of the team “Red Bull” Sergio Perez won the fourth stage of the championship “Formula 1” – the Grand Prix of Azerbaijan, which was held in Baku. For the 33-year-old rider, this is the second victory of the season.

On April 29, he won the sprint race.

Perez’s teammate Dutch driver Max Verstappen finished second, and Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc from Monaco finished third.

During his career, Perez has won six Grand Prix events: in Bahrain (2020), Monaco (2022), Singapore (2022) and Saudi Arabia (2023).

Verstappen currently leads the overall standings with 93 points, followed by Perez (87 points) and Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso (60).

The next stage of the championship will be held in Miami on May 5-7.
