Argentine soccer player Lionel Messi scored on June 15 the fastest goal of his entire career. He opened the scoring in a friendly match between Argentina and Australia in the 79th second.

In the end, Argentina won the match 2-0. The second goal was brought to the team by Herman Pessella in the 68th minute. Australia never managed to score a single goal.

It is noted that for the Argentine footballer the goal was the 103rd in his entire career. Now Messi is in third place in the ranking of the best scorers of national teams of all time. The first place is occupied by the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo with 122 goals, and the second is the Iranian Ali Daei with 109 goals.

Argentina’s next friendly match will be against Indonesia on June 19.

Recall that Lionel Messi announced on June 7 the transfer from the French PSG to the American Inter Miami. He explained his decision with a desire to leave Europe in order to get out of the spotlight of the sports media.
