Mookie Betts is one of the top hitters in Major League Baseball and one of the Dodgers’ fan favorites. One of them idolized him and named his daughter “Muki” after a funny story.
The Dodgers outfielder revealed on social media that a fan yelled at him while he waited in line to fight. during the game and told him that if he hit a home run, he would give his daughter “Mookie” as her middle name.
“While I was in a circle on deck, a fan started calling me and saying if I hit a home run he called his daughter by my name. I told him, “Don’t do it, your wife won’t like it,” but he told me it would,” Betts said.
Mookie hit a long home run against the Oakland A’s, driving 436 feet, one of the longest hitters of his career.
“I hit one of the longest home runs of my career. I ran around the bases and when I got to the home court, I hit him. Two weeks later I saw on Twitter fan post with birth certificate with the name “Francesca Muki Mancuso”. Can’t wait to meet Francesca,” Mookie Betts said with a laugh.
The Betts has a .295 batting average with 132 hits, 31 home runs, 81 RBIs and 98 runs scored in 114 games this season.

Since the franchise moved to Los Angeles, Sean Green has the most doubles: 49 in 2003, 20 years ago.. Freeman has a shot at being the player with the most doubles in a year for the Dodgers.
