Japan holds unusual endurance races with miniature cars (video)

One of the most famous cars of these competitions is a six-wheel miniature replica of the Porsche 935. It was designed by the engineers who created the iconic Mazda 787B.

Twice a year, Fuji Racetrack in Japan hosts the extraordinary K4-GP endurance race. Only small cars participate in these competitions. This was reported on The Drive website.

K4-GP was designed as an affordable, low-stakes race. Only cars with an engine capacity of up to 1.2 liters can participate in the competition. The volume of the fuel tank should not exceed 100 liters.

Most of the starting line is occupied by the Japanese.

K4-GP doesn’t pretend to be serious, so cars in this discipline often look like real race cars. In such races you can meet Suzuki Capuccino in the guise of Dodge Viper or Nissan Saurus Jr. Ferrari F40 in LM form.

But many cars simply do not match the unusual P9111111, created by the engineers who worked on the famous Mazda 787B car. This car follows the design of the Porsche 935 but has six wheels like the Tyrrell P34 Formula 1 car.

The front of the car is made of parts of a racing kart. All other components of this car were designed from the ground up.

Previously Focus reported that a unique miniature sports car Ferrari F-Racer Junior has been put up for auction in the United States.
