The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has referred the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) non-compliance case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). The organization’s website reports this.

WADA submitted a corresponding request for arbitration to CAS on November 16. The statement of non-compliance of RUSADA will not come into force until the court makes its own decision.

On September 22, the WADA Executive Committee decided that RUSADA remains deprived of full status due to alleged “inconsistencies of state legislation with the World Anti-Doping Code,” which were allegedly discovered during a virtual audit in September last year and have not been eliminated at the moment.

On October 14, WADA’s decision was supposed to come into force, but RUSADA expressed disagreement with this.
