The Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) club Salavat Yulaev responded to information about the suspension of operations on the team’s accounts due to debts. As the club stated, the Federal Tax Service did indeed suspend operations on some of their accounts, but this is a temporary measure. RIA Novosti reports this with reference to the team’s press service.
Information about the arrest of Salavat Yulaev’s accounts was previously disseminated in the media.
“On February 1, we will pay off the resulting debt. This sometimes happens. The fact is that the deadlines for paying taxes sometimes do not coincide with the deadlines for transferring the next tranches to us,” — the team explained.
They emphasized that this would not affect the team’s activities in any way.
After 57 matches of the regular season, Salavat Yulaev is in third position in the Eastern Conference standings, with 77 points.
