Seven-time Formula 1 world champion, Mercedes team racing driver, Briton Lewis Hamilton spoke about his upcoming move to Ferrari. He wrote a corresponding post about this on his social network page on Instagram*.

“The last few days have been crazy and filled with a whole range of emotions. I have been incredibly lucky. After achieving what I could only dream of as a child at Mercedes, I now have the opportunity to fulfill another childhood dream – driving a red Ferrari.”said the Briton.
The pilot from Great Britain shared his emotions from his performances at Mercedes, whose team he represented for more than 10 years – since 2013. However, Lewis Hamilton noted that it was time for a new challenge.
“The moment came to change something and take on a new challenge. I still remember the feeling when I took a leap of faith and joined Mercedes in 2013. I know some people didn’t understand it then, but I was right and I had the same feeling now. I can’t wait to see how I take this opportunity and what we can do.”,” Hamilton pointed out.
The British racing driver recalled that he will join Ferrari only next year – in 2024 he will continue to represent Mercedes. According to him, this fact will not affect his motivation in the upcoming Formula 1 racing season.
