It is known that the regional center was attacked the previous day, March 21. One of the enemy targets hit an industrial facility, killing one person and wounding six others.

55-year-old Elena Sivanich died in the attack of the invaders. She was the mother of Ukrainian athlete Svetlana Malkova. The woman died while her daughter was in Cottbus, Germany, as part of Ukraine’s trampoline team.
