Looks like Tesla is finally launching deliveries of its Tesla Semi electric truck later this year. As you know, this model was introduced by Elon Musk in 2017. Initially, its debut on the roads was expected in 2019, but then, between various delays, the launch was postponed several times. In fact, it seemed that the first deliveries were due to begin during 2023.
Apparently, however, they will be released a little earlier, albeit it is not clear in what volumes. This was directly reported by Elon Musk in a Twitter post, in which he also added that deliveries of the Cybertruck will begin next year instead. However, the date is already known. As for the electric truck, the number one at Tesla has clarified that deliveries will concern model with a range of 500 miles (about 800 km).
The Tesla semi-truck with a range of 500 miles will start shipping this year, the Cybertruck next.

We remind you in this regard that the Tesla Semi is also offered in a variant with a maximum mileage of 300 miles (about 480 km). This is certainly good news, a sign that Tesla may have overcome some of the difficulties that led to the delay in the commercial launch of the electric truck. Issues related mainly to known difficulties with the supply of components.
Elon Musk did not go into details. Therefore, we will probably have to wait a bit to find out the full technical information about the production version of the Tesla Semi. Over time, the electric truck received many orders from different companies.
Which companies will be the first to get an electric truck? This is unknown. However, you might think that Pepsi is among the first, since one of its facilities in California already has several Megachargers installed, that is, special versions of the classic Superchargers designed to recharge electric trucks at very high power.
