At the Tokyo Motor Show nissan introduced 2024 GT-R. The innovations are few, but they allow to refresh the appearance of this sports car, which continues to be very popular. Unfortunately, these innovations will affect only those markets where the sports car is still sold, including Japan. Indeed, the Nissan GT-R is no longer represented in Europe due to increasingly stringent emission and exhaust noise regulations.
For 2024, Nissan has made a number of changes to the grille as well as improved aerodynamics and driving experience. The Japanese automaker emphasizes that while engine power has remained unchanged, they noise and vibration are reducedto take full advantage of the comfort on board.
The 2024 Nissan GT-R is also offered in new GT-R Premium edition T-spec and GT-R NISMO Special edition. The Japanese manufacturer announces that sales will begin in the spring. On the other hand, higher performance NISMO models will appear next summer.
The GT-R NISMO Special edition is a particularly extreme version featuring specific body kit, for a new suspension setup and a limited slip differential on the front axle. The hood is made from carbon fiber and the alloy wheels are 20-inch with red detailing. However, Recaro seats stand out in the cabin.
On the other hand, the new premium version of the T-spec is positioned, explains Nissan, over Premium version and still offers special suspension tuning and a carbon-ceramic braking system. As for the engine, under the hood is a 3.8-litre V6 biturbo with 419 kW (570 hp) and 637 Nm of torque. Power increases to 441 kW (600 hp) with 652 Nm of torque on the NISMO Special version.
The gearbox is a 6-speed dual clutch, while the thrust is integral.
