However, the startup has made it clear that it wants to move forward and is working on find new investors to start production of the Lightyear 2. This is a car always equipped with solar charging technology, but aimed at the masses, given that a starting price of 40,000 euros is foreseen. On the other hand, Lightyear 0 was offered for a good 250,000 euros before taxes. According to initial plans, the new model should appear in 2025.
