Dhikr X will make its official debut at the Shanghai Auto Show in April. As you know, this electric model of the Chinese brand Geely Group is designed for also sold in the European car market. Apparently, the manufacturer is already testing a model for Europe, given that the forklift was intercepted while performing a classic winter testing in Sweden.

This new model is based on SEA Platform Geely Group, the same one that was already used on the new Smart #1, which we already had the opportunity to try. Even the powertrains will be the same. In fact, thanks to some information leaked in the past by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), we know that the Zeekr X will be offered with both a single 200kW motor and a dual 315kW electric drive. These are Smart #1 powertrains.
So there will likely also be a 66kWh battery that will allow for more than 400km on the WLTP cycle. The best performing model should accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about 4 seconds. Unfortunately, the spy photos don’t let you see the interior. However, it is likely that they will adopt a very similar appearance. Dhikr 001 and 009.
The new Zeekr X will be launched in China in the second quarter of 2023. Subsequently, the brand will introduce its new model in Europe, starting in markets such as Norway, Holland and Sweden. For the Chinese brand, this will be the third electric model after the debut of 001 and 009.
