According to the representative of the GUR, the most valuable thing in Shaheds is the CRPA antenna, which helps to shoot down unmanned aerial vehicles to counter the Ukrainian electronic warfare systems.
A representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine showed what the Iranian-made Shahed attack aircraft “kamikaze” consists of. The related video was broadcast by Radio Liberty on March 28.
Russian occupation troops regularly attack Ukrainian cities with these drones. After dismantling the Shahed, Ukrainian experts concluded that most of the components were produced by Western countries, but these parts should not have reached Iran due to sanctions. The GUR states that Iranians order most of their UAV components online.
“We can buy all these electronic components from Aliexpress. It’s just a GPS antenna, most [комплектующих] foreign production: Japan, China, USA. “Many of the components were handed over to our foreign partners so that they could impose sanctions and that these electronic components never again enter Iran and be used against us.”

Recall, on March 28, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that during the night attack on Ukraine, the invaders fired 13 Shahed-136/131 UAVs, a Granat-4 reconnaissance aircraft and two guided aerial bombs.
Earlier, on March 26, the British Defense Intelligence Service reported that Russia began to regularly receive a small batch of Shahed drones. Since March this year, the Russian Armed Forces has launched 71 unmanned aerial vehicles on the territory of Ukraine.
