The automaker announces that, according to preliminary data, a model with a single 150 kW electric motor, a 99.8 kW battery and 19-inch wheels is capable of range 541 km through the WLTP cycle. Thanks to the 800V architecture, batteries can be charged with very high power from DC columns. Kia therefore says only 15 minutes to be able to recover 239 km of track.

SUV also has V2L technology (Vehicle-to-Load) for powering external electrical devices up to 3.68 kW. In terms of safety, the new Kia EV9 will be able to count on on the highway driving pilot (autonomous driving level 3), but only in some countries.
