In China, they want to create “invisible” drones so as not to reach the enemy: what did they find?

After the American MQ-9 unmanned aerial vehicle fell into the hands of the Russians, China began to consider developing its UAVs and aircraft.

Wang Zhengping, a professor at the Department of Aviation at Northwestern Polytechnic University in Xi’an, told the South China Morning Post that Chinese drones must be developed in a “flying wing” style to avoid detection by the enemy. He bases his expert opinion on a recent incident in which an MQ-9 reconnaissance UAV with a conventional wing design collided with a Russian Su-27, causing the UAV to fall into the sea and (allegedly) hunted by the Russians.

A Chinese aviation expert said after a US drone collided with a Russian fighter jet and crashed into the Black Sea, China’s next-generation drones could adopt a “flying wing” to make them more invisible to enemy aircraft.

According to the professor, the flying wing will help reduce the risk of collision by significantly increasing the speed and maneuverability of drones and fighters. This design also makes it easy to add hidden features, which can help prevent accidents.

And China is already working on similar designs for future drones and warplanes. For example, the Chinese FL-2 stealth transport aircraft developed by Zhongtian Yinkong Technology and introduced in 2019 features a flying wing design. The new generation H-20 bomber of the Chinese army is expected to be in the same order.
