Two missed: kamikaze drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine together with the invaders blew up the BMP-3

Russian soldiers inadvertently leaned out of the hatches and did not have time to hide before the drone attack.

Fighters of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, named Cherny Zaporozhets, with the help of kamikaze drones destroyed a Russian BMP-3 on the front line. The department’s press service shared the video on Facebook.

The combat vehicle of the invaders was moving along a country road near the forest belt, when it was noticed by the operators of the UAV: one was watching from the side, while the second went on the attack. The FPV drone with a shaped payload flew towards BPM and crashed into the tower and exploded.

In the video, you can see the Russian military peeking out through the open hatches at that moment, so they were probably damaged by the explosion. After the collision, the BMP-3 stopped at a fork and fire broke out inside. The soldiers of the 72nd brigade did not stop there and made two more attacks with drones: one fell behind the stern of the vehicle, the second hit the target directly and burned down with ammunition.

Telegram channel TORO of the “Bila Tserkva Volunteer Group”, dedicated to the use of self-made kamikaze drones, writes that the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the BMP-3 shown in the video with precisely such UAVs. The 72nd Motor Brigade’s unmanned aerial vehicles also damaged the Russian multi-purpose carrier-tractor MT-LB, whose crew tried to escape in haste but was unsuccessful. According to the volunteers, in addition to armored vehicles, the RF Armed Forces lost at least six personnel.

Bila Tserkva Volunteer Group representative Yury Moskalenko stated on Facebook that TORO unmanned aerial vehicles have been supplied to 72 separate motor brigades, 28 motor brigades, 93 motor brigades, 14 motor brigades, 59 motor brigades and Main Intelligence units. Directorate and Security Service of Ukraine. Engineers are developing UAVs to increase their accuracy, range and payload.

Earlier, they wrote about how the Ukrainian Pegasus kamikaze drone crashed into a Russian infantry fighting vehicle in a front-line settlement. The drone with cumulative ammunition caught the combat vehicle and crashed into the tower, detonating on impact.
