NEW ENGINES

The second generation of the Skoda Kodiaq will be offered with petrol and diesel engines, as well as the plugin version. The gearbox will be a 6-speed DSG. The electric motor is powered by a 25.7 kWh battery capable of driving more than 100 km on electricity alone. The battery can be charged with AC up to 11 kW and DC up to 50 kW.

Later Kodiaq will be sold with two TDI units volume of 2 liters with a capacity of 110 kW (150 hp) and 142 kW (193 hp). Then comes the 110 kW (150 hp) 1.5 TSI equipped with Mild Hybrid technology. Finally, a 2.0 TSI petrol engine with 150 kW (204 hp) will also be on the price list. All petrol and diesel units are mated to a 7-speed DSG transmission. The 142 kW (193 hp) TDI and 150 kW (204 hp) TSI engines are available with all-wheel drive as standard.

The second generation of the Skoda SUV will also be able to count on numerous driver assistance systems, including Travel Assist. In 2024, a remote parking assistance system will be available that allows the SUV to maneuver into tight parking spaces outside using a smartphone app.
