With coming Model year 2024 Cupra introduced some small updates for Leon, Formentor and electric Born. New versions are already available to order. As for me Prices for the Italian market Cupra Leon costs from 32,350 euros, Cupra Formentor – from 35,600 euros, and Cupra Born – from 41,100 euros.
Let’s start with Leon. Cupra announces that after several months of waiting, the 245 PS Leon 2.0 TSI DSG in VZ version is back in stock. In addition, the Leon trim levels have been streamlined, with the VZ and VZ Carbon versions being exclusive to engines over 150kW.
On top of all this, the new one was only introduced on the price list for the Italian market. Extreme Design Pack which includes 18-inch copper wheels, CUPRA side skirts, a black roof spoiler, aluminum pedals and carbon fiber mirror caps. The Design Pack Extreme will be available for all engines in combination with DSG automatic transmission, both 5-door and Sportstourer models. Except for VZ and VZ Carbon versions.
Finally, in model year 2024, an electric towbar is also available for the 5-door Cupra Leon (except e-HYBRID and 2.0 TSI engines with 245 hp).
Let’s move on to Cupra Formentor. The Spanish brand reports that the news is mainly about opportunities. Highlighted in more detail is the introduction of all-season tires for 18-inch alloy wheels. New optional equipment for the VZ version includes Dinamica seats with dark brown leather inserts and Akrapovic exhaust pipes for the 2.0 TSI 310 HP 4Drive DSG engine. In addition, BeatsAudio is also becoming available for e-HYBRID engines.
Finally, with regard to the Cupra Born, the only innovation concerns the introduction of two additional speakers in the rear doors with a diameter of 168 mm as standard equipment.
