“Minus tank”: National Guard used drones to destroy equipment of the Russian Armed Forces (video)

The enemy tried to protect the tank by camouflaging it with dry branches, but the drone operator successfully guided the tank to the target.

National Guard soldiers used a kamikaze drone to destroy a Russian tank. The corresponding video was published on Friday, September 22, on the Facebook page of the Special Purpose Center of the Ukrainian National Guard “Omega”.

Video footage shows an FPV drone “battle” with Russian armored vehicles. The invaders tried to hide the tank in the forest by throwing dry branches at it. However, the kamikaze drone, which the operator directed to the target, successfully hit the enemy equipment. And the reconnaissance aircraft operating with it showed the results of the hit. The images show how the tank burst into flames and then dense smoke poured out of it. It is unknown whether the crew was present at the time of the drone attack.

The military video had the title “A small drive and minus tank by special forces of the 2nd platoon of the NSU Omega Special Purpose Center.”

Let us remind you that on September 21, the Ukrainian Pegas UAV prevented the bombardment by blowing up a tank belonging to the Russian Armed Forces. The invaders’ armored vehicles were driving along the road used by other vehicles. The UAV operator sent out a drone that hit the tank as it entered a small landing. And a reconnaissance drone filmed from a bird’s eye view how a fire broke out in the tank’s hull and within seconds the surroundings were covered in thick gray smoke.

And on September 15, a Ukrainian Armed Forces drone destroyed a Russian tank worth $3 million hidden in the landing area. The drone operator sent the attack drone there. The UAV hit its target accurately, hitting the T-52 from a vulnerable area under the turret. The tank caught fire and a few seconds later its ammunition began to explode.
