“Both Kursk and Tula feel the war”: Why Ukrainian UAVs scare Russia (video)

Ukraine is increasingly advancing the development and production of its own unmanned aerial vehicles, which are currently hitting targets in Russia’s rear.

Russian occupiers, their collaborators and ordinary Russians are increasingly afraid of the constant development of Ukrainian-created and developed drones. This opinion was expressed by military expert and airborne reconnaissance officer Andrei Kovalenko on Apostrophe TV.

In his opinion, what worries the invaders most now is that the war is increasingly felt on Russian territory. And we are talking not only about the front-line regions, but also about the deep rear of the aggressor country.

“Kursk, the Moscow region, Tula and many other Russian cities are already feeling the war,” said Andrei Kovalenko.

The Ukrainian drone army also instills fear in its collaborators. Thus, the air reconnaissance officer stated that the collaborator Vladimir Saldo was very afraid of the massive and, most importantly, precise attacks of our kamikaze drones. Additionally, Ukrainian drones cause damage to Russian Armed Forces in the combat zone almost every day.

“In the direction of Bakhmut and near Avdeevka, the enemy often loses equipment. A week ago, T-90 tanks and other armored vehicles worth more than $ 7 million were disabled by drones,” the expert said.

How should Ukraine further develop unmanned technologies?

In a conversation with journalists, the air reconnaissance officer stated that the priority task now is the destruction of the Russian military-industrial complex. We are talking about businesses that produce missile and drone parts. For this, we need to further actively develop drone production in Ukraine. Especially for this, it makes sense to build underground factories that are inaccessible to enemy missile attacks.

In the near future, Ukraine will see an increase in UAV production. Already, our country can boast not only of domestic engines for drones, but also of the development of entire FPV drones.

“The important thing now is to increase their number to meet the production needs of our own engines by the end of the year. Circuit boards and microelectronics – here we are dependent on imports, but logistics have been established and will increase,” “concluded the expert.

Let us recall that in early August, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexey Danilov said that the war would make Ukraine one of the world’s top drone manufacturers. According to him, the main advantage of Ukrainian drones is that the military is in close contact with the developers and signals them about any problems they encounter during the operation of the equipment.

And at the beginning of July it became known that the Ukrainians started the production of new FPV drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This technique does not require additional stabilization. The quadcopter can be controlled by one operator who will have maximum control over this device.
