The Ministry of Digital Transformation has combined the Diya service with the application of the company Ukrzaliznytsia (UZ) in order to facilitate the purchase of train tickets on the Kiev-Warsaw route and to combat speculators. Deputy Prime Minister Mikhail Fedorov shared the details on his Facebook page on November 8.
According to him, Ukrzaliznytsia continues to fight those who deliberately buy train tickets and then sell them at an inflated price. With the introduction of the new service, citizens will no longer need to look for alternative travel options or overpay.
“Now you can buy tickets for the most popular train Kiev – Warsaw in the Ukrzaliznytsia application only with Diya.Pidpis. Account verification through Diya will confirm that you are a real person,” said Mikhail Fedorov.
If strange activity occurs on a page in the form of regular purchases and ticket refunds, the account will be blocked after verification. Even if the application is deleted or verified on another device, the person will no longer be able to make a purchase.
All this will lead to the fact that only users who need it will be able to purchase tickets. The head of the Ministry of Digital Development stated that this is at least useful and makes unnecessary haste a thing of the past.
“Also, recently, to refund international tickets, you had to go to the station, queue, apply and wait up to six months for a refund. Thanks to “Diya.Pidpis”, this has become fashionable. You will do everything in the UZ application in a few seconds,” he said. Mikhail Fedorov.

- Citizens will be able to go to their profiles and there will be a confirmation button on the home screen;
- When purchasing tickets for the Kiev – Warsaw train or returning tickets for international flights.
