The head of the Ministry of Digital Development said that the development of new models includes special functions for exploring the Black Sea and responding to the military threat from Russia.
Ukraine has begun mass production of surface unmanned aerial vehicles to better counter Russia in a military conflict. This was stated by Mikhail Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, at the national telethon on Tuesday, November 14.
He said that a large number of unmanned vehicles have already been produced and “surprise” new models have been developed for the invaders. Mikhail Fedorov also noted that Russian ships will feel unrest in the Black Sea.
According to the head of the relevant ministry, the increase in the scale of production leads to competition and the creation of new functions for drones, allowing them to be used more effectively in combat conditions. Fedorov also emphasized that technology provides the opportunity to respond asymmetrically to the military threat from Russia.
The Minister of Digital Transformation assured Ukrainians that our military and our partners are working day and night to move to a new technological level and effectively counter the enemy.
“Technology is the possibility of an asymmetric reaction to the number of people, weapons and bullets that the enemy sends to our country. We are working 24/7 with the army and our partners to move to another technological stage to destroy the enemy.” Mikhail Fedorov.
We just wrote that Ukrainian navy unmanned aerial vehicles hit 7 Russian ships in the Black Sea. Navy drones changed the course of events in the Black Sea: Russian ships had to completely abandon the western and central parts of the sea.
It was also known that Ukraine would have to rely on maritime drones in the near future, since the Russian Armed Forces had already specialized in kamikaze drones and were superior in manpower from the very beginning of the invasion, the expert said. This opinion was expressed by Taras Chmut, president of the Turn Back Alive Foundation.
