In May number one in Audi Sport It has been revealed that an RS 6 Avant is in development, which will be even more extreme and powerful than the current one. Unfortunately, no additional interesting details were added. Now a mule of this sports car, tentatively renamed “RS 6 GT”, was intercepted during a test session in Northern Europe. The car appears to be partially camouflaged, with the films covering the areas of the car where major design changes will occur.

Thanks to spy photo so we can take a look at the innovations that will be featured in this model, which is expected to launch in 2024. In particular, compared to the current RS 6 Avant, the front end has been redesigned with a new bumper that includes differently shaped air intakes. The splitter also looks new. You can also notice the presence of ventilation holes behind the front fenders.

Looking at the rear, you can see that the spoiler is also new and seems to be inspired by this. Audi RS6 GTO concept 2020, created in honor of the Audi 90 Quattro IMSA GTO racing car. Under the rear windows you can see classic Audi Sport decals. This could be another reference to the RS6 GTO concept.

Unfortunately, the snow behind us does not allow us to see all the details. However, you can notice the presence of a large diffuser and oval-shaped exhaust pipes. There should always be room under the hood 4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine fitted to the current RS 6, but has higher output than the 463 kW (630 hp) of the Performance version.

In addition to more power and a new, more aggressive body kit, Audi should also have worked on the tuning and weight, perhaps creating carbon fiber body parts to make this sports car even more capable around corners. All that remains is to wait for news about the launch of this model.
