Minus two targets at once: drones destroyed the Russian electronic warfare system and the Murom-M complex (video)

The invaders installed electronic warfare equipment on the tower to protect the long-range visual surveillance device from drones, but this did not help them.

In the Kharkov region, border guards of the Guard assault brigade “Steel Border” hit the enemy’s electronic warfare system, preventing them from working. The relevant video was published on the Facebook page of the State Border Service of Ukraine on Tuesday, January 2.

Video footage shows how Russian invaders simultaneously installed two technical devices in a tower: an electronic warfare system and a Murom-M long-range visual surveillance device. The kamikaze drone, first controlled by the UAV operator, disabled the electronic warfare system. In fact, the Russian military only installed it to “protect” expensive surveillance equipment from drones. And a few seconds later, a second drone flew towards the tower and hit the Murom-M equipment, thus destroying the “eyes” of the Russians.

Border guards signed the published video footage: “Skill of border guards: minus two enemy targets in one tower. The second flight of the kamikaze drone destroyed the Murom-M surveillance complex, which the invaders had nothing to cover.”

What is known about the Murom-M complex that shot down the UAV

“Murom-M” is a long-range visual surveillance device that autonomously monitors manpower and equipment. It is equipped with an optical camera with good zoom, which can distinguish a person from a distance of up to 10 km, as well as a thermal imaging device that detects a car at 8 km and people at 4 km. The Russians place them on tall buildings such as towers and elevators, and also lift them on special poles just above ditches.

Let us recall that at the end of August the Grom drone destroyed the Russian Murom-M system. The invaders installed a surveillance system on the tower to monitor the Ukrainian army and its equipment, but the Thunder drone deprived the Russians of expensive optics in one blow.

And in the first half of July, GUR soldiers simultaneously destroyed four Murom complexes of the Russian Armed Forces. With the help of light drones, intelligence officers deprived the Russians of equipment that helped the invaders monitor the actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
