Thanks to the Neue Klasse platform, BMW develops a new generation of electric vehicles. Among them is the new iX3, which has already become the protagonist of several spy photos. However, the new X3 will not only be offered in an electric version. The German brand will also continue to offer one endothermic variant SUV, which will also be updated. And the new endothermic BMW X3 was once again intercepted during a test session on German roads.
Thanks to spy videos via CarSpy Media you can take a closer look at some prototypes of the new SUV. The images show that the cars are apparently still camouflaged with body wraps to hide design details.
The new endothermic model should increase slightly in size and have evolution of the current design, without serious shocks. The video gives a better look at the front and rear of the car with the new headlights. Unfortunately, we do not have the opportunity to look inside. However, the new model should have a similar interior layout. This means that we will always find BMW curved display which combines the instrument display and infotainment system.
Additional information should arrive over the next few months, which will give us a better understanding of the direction the German brand has taken with the development of the new SUV, given that the presentation is expected between the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025. As for engines, we will definitely find Mild Hybrid and Plug-in units. In particular, PHEV versions should have a larger battery that will allow for longer range in electric-only mode.
The 100% electric version, as mentioned at the outset, will be based on a different platform and will also feature a new design inspired by the Vision concepts.
