MG will use the stage at the 2024 Geneva Motor Show, which runs from February 26 to March 3, to unveil the new model. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the automaker announced that new MG3 debuts. At the same time, the brand also shared a teaser showing part of the front end of the new car.
It will be a new hatchback that will not be offered with an electric motor, at least for now. The new MG3 should only be offered with petrol engines and possibly hybrids to keep the price as low as possible. Spy photos that have surfaced over the past few months have already given us the first glimpse of the new model’s design. Compared to the previous generation, the new car will have a different front end, which will feature triangular headlights and C-shaped air intakes.

There is no exact information on mechanics. As mentioned earlier, under the hood we will find endothermic units, probably electrified. These technical choices will allow us to continue to offer the new MG3 at an affordable price. A 100% electric version would increase the cost too much.

Therefore, all that remains is to wait a little more than a month to discover all the capabilities of this car. It will also be interesting to understand the marketing aspects. In fact, there is talk of a price that could be less than 20 thousand euros. Will it also arrive in Italy? We’ll find out soon.
