IONITY charging network continues to grow and has now reached the quota 600 stations throughout Europe. In total, there are currently 3,382 HPC charging points available. Instead, 96 stations are currently under construction. The station that enabled this milestone was recently opened near Toome in Northern Ireland.
Having a widespread network of high-power charging stations is essential to facilitating long-distance EV travel. IONITY, a joint venture between BMW, Ford, Mercedes, Volkswagen Group and Hyundai, is working to achieve exactly this goal.
Work is apparently ongoing as the company plans to have more than 1,000 HPC stations by 2025. By this point, the company said, there should be about 7,000 charging stations. In addition to new stations, IONITY is also working on expanding existing ones. Thus, we want to always offer the best charging experience.
IONITY reduces the cost of Passport subscription: 5.99 euros per month for 0.59 euros per kWh 68
