New Problems For German Tesla Gigafactory. Apparently, the plant left without electricity because of a fire broke out nearby. Therefore, production was stopped and the factory also had to be evacuated. Local authorities immediately suspected that the fire might have been arson.
According to the BZ newspaper, a fire occurred this morning near the plant. Firefighters arriving at the scene had to call a mine clearance team because they found a sign that read:ammunition is buried here“.
The Tesla Gigafactory has been without power for several hours and production has stopped. The cause is said to be the arson of a power line pole.

Police said they received a call warning of a power pole fire in the Gosen-Neu-Zittau area near the plant and of power outages particularly in the Freienbrink area, southeast of Berlin. The flames did not reach the plant, but due to a power outage, production of electric vehicles was stopped.

Apparently, then the left-wing extremist group Vulcan, which is already suspected of setting fire to the electrical grid at the Tesla construction site in 2021, will take responsibility. However, the investigation continues.
Problems continue at the German plant. As we know, Tesla turned to the authorities with a request Permissions required for Gigafactory extension. Part of the green light process also includes a public consultation with the residents of Grünheide, who said no to the work. The result is not binding, but will definitely be taken into account by local authorities before giving the green light.
Just recently, a group of environmentalists built a camp with treehouses to prevent possible logging due to Tesla’s expansion project.
