The car will be offered in both 2-door coupe and 4-door sedan versions. A 100% electric model will debut initially. Later in 2025, Dodge also predicted the arrival of one version with internal combustion engine 6-cylinder biturbo engine with a volume of 3 liters. Prices have not yet been announced.

WE START WITH THE ELECTRIC VERSION

New Dodge Charger Daytona measure Length 5248 mm, width 2028 mm (without mirrors) and height 1497/1499 mm, wheelbase 3074 mm. trunk its volume is 644 liters, which can be increased to 1059 by folding the rear seatbacks. Therefore, dimensions are very important. This model is also longer and wider than the Mercedes S-Class, so it’s no surprise that the weight reaches 2,648 kg.

There will be no shortage of technology inside the cabin. In fact, behind the wheel we find a digital instrument panel with a screen of 10.25 inches or 16 inches in the Scat Pack version. The Uconnect 5 infotainment system can count on a 12.3-inch touch display. The multifunction steering wheel can be used to control several driving modes available for the car: Auto, Eco, Sport, Wet/Snow and Track. By choosing the Scat Pack version, you can also use Drift and Donut modes. There is also a PowerShot mode that allows the car to boost power for a short period of time.

The Dodge Charger Daytona is built on the STLA Large platform from Stellantis. It will initially be offered in R/T and ScatPack versions, both equipped with two electric motors and therefore all-wheel drive. If we go into details, then Model R/T it can count on 370 kW (503 hp) and 548 Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 4.7 seconds. Top speed is 137 mph (about 220 km/h).

Skat Pak model, however, offers 500 kW (680 hp) and 850 Nm of torque. The car accelerates from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 134 mph (approximately 215 km/h). The maximum power level is achieved using the PowerShot function. In all cases, there is a 100.5 kWh battery (93.9 kWh usable), providing a range of 317 miles/510 km (R/T) and 260 miles/418 km (Scat Pack). Charging can occur at up to 11 kW AC and up to 183 kW DC.

For these models, a Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust sound generator was created, which artificially reproduces the sound of the V8 engine of Charger and Challenger cars.

ALSO WITH 6-CYLINDER ENGINE

Dodge did not want to disclose details about the endothermic versions. The Charger Sixpack SO model will be able to count on 426 hp, while the Charger Sixpack HO will increase power to 558 hp. The manufacturer has not yet published performance data. We’ll have to wait for more details. Meanwhile, electric models will initially debut.
