Titanosaurs lived on Earth about 66 million years ago and were long-necked sauropods that evolved during the late Cretaceous period. Boschetto states that the day was completely normal until he and his pet noticed that a landslide at the edge of the cliff had revealed giant bones belonging to various skeletons.

The amateur paleontologist reported the find to the local archaeological and paleontological culture society and was very pleased. According to the researchers, the finding was particularly notable due to its nearly original anatomical location; This will allow animals to be presented to the public in nearly exact anatomical positions.
The most exciting thing, according to society member Jean-Marc Veissier, was that he and his colleagues now had at least one anatomically related animal: a long-necked titanosaur.
The area where the fossils were found is now referred to as the “bone bed” by experts because it is rich in animal bones and other fossils. Experts discovered the remains of the herbivorous dinosaur Rhabdodon as well as carnivorous theropods in the same area.
Researchers state that the titanosaur skeleton found is 70% preserved. Interestingly, these sauropods were among the largest dinosaurs of their time at the end of the Cretaceous period – their length from head to tail could reach 25 meters.
Note that other titanosaur remains have previously been found in other parts of Europe. However, this fossil is unique in that it has remained virtually untouched despite time; Scientists have even been able to detect some connective tissue.
